The International Conference “PHYSICS IN THE SYSTEM OF MODERN EDUCATION” (PSME) is held regularly (every two years) in the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, St.Petersburg.
In 2023, the XVII Сonference is scheduled on June 27-30. We are glad to invite you to take part in the work of the Conference.
The objective of the conference is to exchange experience in the field of teaching Physics in order to coordinate the activities aimed at the improvement of Physics teaching and learning at different levels – starting from secondary school and up to University.
The working languages of the Conference are Russian and English.
Since 1991, the International Conference “Physics in the System of Modern Education” (PSME) has been held on the basis of various universities in Russia: 1991 (St. Petersburg, Repino), 1993. (Sochi), 1995 (Petrozavodsk), 1997 (Volgograd), 1999 (St. Petersburg), 2001 (Yaroslavl), 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 (St. Petersburg), 2011 (Volgograd), 2013 (Petrozavodsk), 2015 (Saint Petersburg), 2017 (Rostov-on-Don, Divnomorskoe), 2019 (St. Petersburg). In 2019, it was decided to hold the conference permanently on the basis of the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia (St. Petersburg).

On the postponement of the date of the meeting of the program committee
Dear participants! For technical reasons, the meeting of the program committee is postponed to the second half of March. All members of the program committee will be notified by e-mail about the date of the meeting.
Completion of registration of participants
Dear colleagues! On February 17, registration of participants of the XVII International Conference “Physics in the system of Modern Education” (FSSO-2023) was completed. All submitted applications will be considered at the next meeting of the conference program committee. We will definitely notify (by e-mail) all participants about the decisions taken.
On the extension of the deadline for registration and acceptance of materials
Dear colleagues! The Organizing Committee of the FSSO-2023 conference decided to extend the deadline for registration of participants and acceptance of reports until February 17, 2023 (inclusive).
About the payment of the organization fee
Dear participants! Please note that the organization fee is paid only after the acceptance of your report by the program committee of the conference. The decision to accept (or reject) your report will be sent to you by e-mail, the address of which you specified during registration. Before receiving this letter, we kindly ask you not to make any money transfers.
